Thank you to everyone who showed up this weekend to support the artists at the @minnehahafallsartfair! ✨

A BIG thank you to those to stopped by my booth, spoke kindly of my work, shared their love of the desert, reminisced of the smell of leather, purchased my art 🥹, took a business card, looked past the mud from the rain and entered my booth anyway, supported me through all the long hours of prep (in my basement 😅), and helped me load in/out/in&out! Thank you to @homespun_events for the wonderful event and plenty of breaks for hydration and thanks to all of my fellow artists and vendors for creating inspiring work! It was a joy to be a part of my first big art fair with you all! 🌀

These connections are truly what makes this fun and why I’m so grateful I’m able to do this as my work while I raise a tiny human. 🥰💙

This has become an annual tradition for me - to photograph the 4th of July fireworks in this way. In a strange way it’s become rather special since it’s reserved for just once a year. Unfortunately, my city’s fireworks got moved up an hour early with next to zero notice so I mostly missed them, but luckily a neighboring town put on a display last night. So here is this year’s 3RD OF JULY fireworks!
